Dogs are known for being the most loyal animal to humans, and their bond with their human families knows no limits.
A Siberian husky, named Hachiko, has been depressed and lonely since his owner passed away in a car crash in 2014.
And the loyal dog has been sitting at the road side since, waiting for his favorite human to get back.
He has managed to survive the extremely low Siberian temperatures, and ignored every attempt of rescuers to capture him.
The New York Post, reports that Anastasia Selina, an Siberian based animal activist, told for Central European news:
’We haven’t been able to get anywhere near the animal. It only seems to want to get to its previous owner and as far as we know, they didn’t survive the car accident. It doesn’t trust anyone else, and will not even let anybody else stroke it. We advise people not to disturb it, because we are worried it might run under a car if it gets scared.’’
The Daily Mail reported that people that love animals, started to feed the dog and they even built him a kennel so he at least has some shelter.
The dog was near losing his life, when a truck hit his kennel and destroyed it, but they rebuilt it within weeks.
The Hachiko from Siberia, shares the same name as the famous Japanese Akita that is known for his loyalty as well, he went to the same train station every day for 10 long years following his owner’s death.
Our Husky’s broken heart and sadness didn’t go unnoticed, and there is a campaign that has started in an effort to capture him and bring him to safety.
